Will ForScan Read Transmission Temperature?

Will ForScan read transmission temperature?
1. In real time? Can I monitor it while someone drives?
2. Can someone give me an idea how to do this with ForScan, at least point me in the right direction.
(I have ForScan and connection loaded and working)

Yes.

You can monitor it in real time on a laptop, etc. Look around for the trans temp (TFT) PID.

Just set up a dashboard with whatever gauges for whatever functions you want to monitor.

Worked very well!
I tracked coolant temp
Transmission over temp
transmission Fluid Temperature

Transmission never exceeded 199 degrees F in 40 miles on the interstate.
Unfortunately laptop battery died but I learned a lot and will get more information under different conditions next time.
