[attachmentid=26697] Saw this Taurus while walking last Saturday, and happened to have my camera with me. Not something I'd do to mine, but thought other's might be interested...

Haven't seen that one yet!!!

For those not in the big cities (doesn't matter which one) this is now a very popular mod.

Just about any car or SUV that the "natives" put these on is "da bomb" (in their eyes)......

Some of them look fairly kewl. Others just doesn't seem to match up to the "spin" these wheels are supposed to generate......

I like the rims that were factory on my :merc:

I don't live in a big city, but there are plenty of these around here that drive up from Pontiac (I assume that's where they're from)

Here in Philadelphia, there are plenty of cars and trucks with these "tricked out" rims. There are more cars here with aftermarket rims than cars with factory rims. Personally, I like the factory wheels on cars and trucks. Sometimes aftermarket rims look good though.

Sorry - first, for not replying for so long. I didn't know all these replies were on here.

Second, about the car - the wheels/tires were huge and it seemed to be jacked up several inches. I guess I said "tricked out" for lack of a better term. I don't remember seeing a Taurus in person that someone had changed like that. Usually they seem to look stealthy rather than jacked up with big wheels.

I'll try to figure out how to get better pics on here. When I was downloading that one, it kept saying the file was too large, so I emailed the photo to myself and then attached from my email. It was the only way I could get it to work for me.

Well it would be necessary to alter the suspension geometry in the first place to fit them, and I would imagine the wheel is larger in diamter with the tire than a factory rim also, adding to the lift.

If you have a photobucket account, just upload to there, and then you can just copy and paste the line of code that starts with
