You do know that the lights for the buttons and the button functions are on different circuits. So different fuses. The function for the truck release button has two fuses. F 27 and F 11 in the Body control Module. F27 is for the logic for the Remote Function Actuator and F 11 is it's power (mini computer) While the light for the button is F12 in the Body Control Module

 

All buttons work but are not illuminated. Map lights work when pressed but no interior lights when any door is opened

 

Some clarity would be helpful - is it just the illumination on the trunk button, or does the button itself not work?

Is it with the car running and the door open, or after you turn it off and open the door to get out?

 

First check the interior light dimmer switch / dial. It could be set to off.

Second fuses. The Map lights have two fuses. One for the button and one for the interior lights. See wiring diagram below:

The same fuse will kill the trunk button and steering wheel lights?

It’s not fuses. If I manually turn on the map lights, the bulbs work
