Does my 2003 Mercury Sable 3.0L DOHC Duratec engine have an IMRC (Intake Manifold Runner Control) valve? I am having trouble, after replacing several IAC's (including a Motorcraft one) with idle still high, check engine light on and OBDII code 1506 registers still. I read replacing a bushing on the rods coming out of the IMRC works because the bushings wear out. However all the IMRC fixes on forums and You Tube are for other engines

There is no IMRC on the 2000-2005 Duratec 24V DOHC motors. Check your TPS sensor and check for vacuum leaks.
