duratec, timing chain or belt?

the 2000 wagon has 80 000 km on it now, I'm wondering if I need to budget for a timing belt change-out, or not.

Only the V6 SHO motors had belts to worry about. Vulcan and Tec are chain driven.

Chain and no you don't. With few exceptions they go forever

My Duratec has some 200000 miles and I didn't do any major repairs. You are good to go for a long while...

The engine definitely has a timing chain, so it really doesn't wear out; so there is no real need/ easy way to replace it.
