New Taurus Owner with AC issues

Hello, new Taurus owner here. Love the car so far, the aesthetics please me greatly.
Today i noticed an issue, the AC got warm when i was idling, and never got as cold as I thought it should get. Given, its 100 degrees outside, but my other car blows much colder.
I actually dont remember thinking the AC was inadequate when I bought the car a couple days ago, nor when ive been driving these other days with 100 heat. In fact, I remember turning it down because it was too cold a couple times.

Anybody else experience similar issues?

Although it shouldn't be low on Freon, I would probably start there. I would get a system check first.

check the cabin filter as well.

You just bought it, that's the starting point. Have the dealer make it right. You might have a leak, and they may have charged it up just enough to move it off the lot. Get it back to them before too much time goes by, and hold their feet to the fire to fix it. A two-year-old car - even if GM made it - shouldn't be leaking in the A/C system.
