I have a 94 vulcan that I thought needed a donut gasket. When I was under the car today I noticed that the Y-pipe to manifold only had one nut on it both bolts, just one nut.. I want to replace that nut to see if it seals my exhaust leak. Does anyone know the size? I do not want to chance pulling the other one off and breaking something....thanks

You probably also discovered that the Taurus doesn't use any donut gaskets. I'm not sure what size that would be, only that it is almost definitely metric. If I had to take a guess, the size 8 coarse thread is common for exhaust studs.
