Looking for a lightly modded (Quaife, 3.2 swap) MTX car to turn into a one-off show car. Mileage would be preferable to >75,000, although that is negotiable.

The car doesn't need to have a perfectly straight body, but it must be a no-rust, a.k.a. Sun-belt or Southern vehicle. I am willing to pay good money for the vehicle, and willing to pick it up or meet halfway if the distance is truly great.

Please PM me here on the forums, or, contact me at [email protected]

Thanks!

Here's a couple of low-mileage one's on eBay. Not modded though:

1994 ATX 76k

1994 ATX 65k

I checked both their histories. They're clean.

I dunno, I pretty much consider a Quaife and a 3.2 swap to be pretty "heavily modded"" myself!!

Check the SHO Club classifieds, IMHO that's probably the best spot to get a clean, low-mileage SHO from a SHO enthusiast.

FWIW, Dave Kegel's white '93 MTX with full black leather interior is For Sale. It's from Chicago, but he didn't drive it in the winter. It is VERY clean, has about every bolt-on engine/suspension/brake mod you can have. He has a listing in the SHO Club classifieds.

My Moonlight Blue '94 MTX wil be FS later in the summer, but it has 100K more miles than you are looking for, plus no Quaife or 3.2

Ron, is that the guy that I met at Lapeer last October? The one who made the delrin subframe bushings? If so, that's a hell of a clean car, I'm surprised he hasn't sold it yet.

No, Dave Kegel has never been to Lapeer, he's from the Chicago area.

When Dave comes for the Gingerman day, I'm not sure if he will bring that white '93, or his blue '90 with the 3.2 (I suspect the '90, since the '93 is FS).

I remember now, also, that this white Gen 2 was an ATX. Ah well, I tried. :)

Well, then disregard the whole "modded" thing. It'll just have to be "heavily." :grin2:

My 90 SHO is from CA, all the rust on the car adds up to the size of a thumbnail.

It's not running either, but the price is right, dirt cheap!

No, I'd prefer, uh, functioning cars, please. No rust on a non-running car just makes for a very shiny paperweight.

I guess this is too late, but TrueBlue, have you gone over to SHOforum? There's a '95 Quaifed MTX with racing seats thats for sale in CT...I was looking at it and was seriously adding up all the $$ in my funds to see if I could afford it :(
