Lastnight my GF was heading home, it stared sleeting so she turned the wiper blades on.
She aid the drivers side wiper blade went passed the windshield the came back and stoped right in the drivers view.
When she got here, it was still stuck in that positon. I pushed it down to te resting posion when the wipers are off, had her turn the wipers on, the drivers side tried to move, and the pass side worked a normal.

What would cause that? How can I fix it.

I know on my foxbody there are arms in the cowl, are the taurus' the same way?

Check the nut at the base of the arm to see if it came loose. If so, either resnug it, put a thin lock washer on the post under the nut or apply some medium strength blue loc-tite. Probably have to pop the cap off first. If not that, prob. have to pull the cowl and check the wiper arm linkage bushing(s). Theyre available for cheap in the HELP! section at most part stores. Az has an asst. pack for $3.99.
