Winter here in the Canadian capital is approaching much faster than I really want it to. This is my first year of driving in this country and hence my first time driving through a Canadian winter. Could someone recommend a good, affordable winter tyre for a 2000 Taurus SE Vulcan? Thanks!

My Kelly Navigator Gold's are great with snow, ice, and rain - I would definitely recommend them.

Michelin Arctic Alpin are the best. You will get at least 40k miles out of them. If you go to Discount Tires web sight they usually have winter tire/wheel packages this time of the year on sale.
