My trusty bull (5th one) 2013 with 266k miles with all but the past 12k driven in SoCal traffic. Now that its been in Maine, the winters have been hard on it. The headlamps and bumper cover are pitted pretty bad from fresh road salt and sand. The windshield is full of pits so bad that you cant see if the sun is toward you but it came up here like that. Problem is, all these parts are incredibly expensive. Much more so than any German car I've owned. $600 for used headlights is the norm. My 2017 SantaFe needed a windshield at $250. My Taurus is $450, and I don't have LKA or auto-braking. Whats up with this? 😲 I don't feel like these parts are in high demand, or that they should greatly surpass VW/Audi Parts.
