I have a 2002 SEL (Duratech). The A/C went on the fritz on Friday, so I'm preparing to use one of those kits to add some refrigerant.

It says it wants me to connect to the "low side". I see one rigid hose sticking up in front of the coolant overflow resevoir that seems like it's A/C ... but I don't see a 2nd one.

Is the one I'm looking at the "low" port? If so, where's the high port?

You won't be able to get high and low mixed up because the hose you have cannot connect to the high side, assuming you have the single hose purchased at the auto parts store. Just watch the psi numbers on the gauge. You do have the psi numbers your looking for, right? you can down load the numbers on google.

go get em

If there is no pressure in the system then you have a leak that needs to be addressed. Then the system needs to be vacuumed before adding refrigerant.
