Hi, I own a 1997 Ford Taurus GL with normal RCU.
I want to wire my Amp but I'm not sure where I should wire the remote turn on for my amplifier to.
Now my second dilemma is how I'm going to connect the amp to an audio source. I need to know if cutting and striping an RCA cable with work for tapping into the rear speakers.

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this topic as this is the first car install I've ever done.

You'll have to find a power source that is only when the key is in the accessory or on position. As for the RCA source, there are adapters out there that you only have to tap into the speaker line and allows you to hook up RCA.

Thanks, I ended up finding a switched power cable it was pink/black.
Can I use the stripped RCA cable and a Y splitter to connect to rear speakers?
