Where To Put Air Temp Senor

I'm installing a short ram intake on my 99 duratec. the air temp senor is in the sir box on my model. where do u sugesst putting the air temp senor? i'd rather not cut into anything until i get time to put in the whole CAI then i have the collars inbetween to poke a hole. But anyways do u think if i taped it to the side of the cone filter or something to that affect work out well????

I tried that...Didn't work too well. I got better results poping a hole in the rubber accordian thingy (technical jargon
) between the MAF and TB and just stuffing the IAT in there.
