I need to know if the intake silencer on a Gen 1 Vulcan is in the same place as the 3.8.
Where Is The Intake Silencer On A 1990 Vulcan?

It should be. It's inside the top part of the airbox.

OK Damn! i geuss its already gone shiz i wanted to see if i could do a cheap mod cuz im broke and i cant quit fidgiting and stuff cuz i have nothing to do to the car yet

Have you tried the torques strap? $10 worth of chain and you get some nice power.

Does tha torque strap mod add noticable difference or is it just better for tha car?

I have a 91 Vulcan, and I have the same problem. It looks like it either got removed, or that it just isn't in the same place as in the 3.8. There is a metal something that connects to the hose from the lid, I was thinking that might be it but to tell the truth I have no clue at all.

The torque strap makes your motor mounts last longer ans since they shorten the amount the engine moves when you floor it/when the tranny shifts, more power gets transfered to the wheels.
