I think you have to be a bit more specific: Year / Engine / Amps? I take it from your price range that the selection at Rockauto doesn't cut it, right?

2006 Ford Taurus with the 3.0 Vulcan stock 110a alt, I bought a alt from them and they sent me the wrong part twice so I’ve branched out I need something that can handle a 1500w amp

I would suggest looking for a local rebuilder of auto electric, a specialist in starters and alternators.

1500 watts if actually used = over 100 Amps. Would take very large cable and blow the windows out with sound force.
Output of Alt is rated at about 6000 rpm and 72 degrees core temp of the Alt. Only happens for a very short period of seconds.
