Gen 1 takes a 9004, 2, 3 and 4 take the 9007. Any auto parts store should be able to look them up for you.

You should not need to adjust the headlights after installing new bulbs.

I just did the install and it is easy. Now it does require removing the whole headlight, but thats not as hard as it seems. There are 4 bolts holding it on. You should be able to point them out, but the forth one is a long bolt that is silver at the top. I wish I had pics it would be easier to explain but this is a basic guide.

-Loosen them all and take out the 3 but not the forth.
-Once the headlight is lose move it out until thats as far as it goes.
-Dont pull on the headlight as you will rip the wiring.
-You will see a black circle thing where the wiring leads into.
-Unscrew that, and move it out of the way as much as possible.
-Then unclip/disconnect the wire to the bulb.
-Take out the headlight out
-Then take the bulb out, by pulling straight out, dont turn.

Reverse for installation.

Sorry for no pics, I did the install just the other night, and man what a difference!
No yellowish look pure whit, and much cleaner lighting!

On a gen3, you do not need to remove the headlight assembly. Just start by locating the black circle (thingy) right behind the headlight and unscrew that. Disconnect the wires and pull the bulb out and replace. When you reinstall make sure the black cirle (thingy) is on the correct way, not backwards.
