Thats right, on sunday after brushing the snow off of the car and it warming up while I waited for my father I leaned over the hood of our 98 SE 3.0 12V Vulcan and put my ear to the hood and noticed a chirping sound, could this be a bad belt tensioner or is it something else? There is about 118k miles on the vulcan, However it seemed to be an intermittent chirping, sometimes i heard it and sometimes i did not, could it have been snow/water in the engine compartment that later burned off? I haven't heard it inside the car tho.
