Personally I have heard several different types of flowmaster exhausts. My personal fave is the 50 series delta flow, which is deep and mellow, yet not too overpowering both inside and outside the car.

You can check a junkyard for the y pipe you need from a gen 3, thats the cheapest and easiest way to go with duals.

i really like the sounds of either a magnaflow or a dynomax muffler. they both tend to have great resonance while not being too loud.

alot of people like the way flowmasters sound, but personally its not for me. plus both the magnaflows and the dynomax mufflers will flow more air than a flowmaster.

I love my flowmaster (40 Series DeltaFlow) - it's only annoyingly loud at 60mph @ 2k RPMs on the highway - but even then it doesn't bother me all the time.

If you follow the video link in my sig, you can year my 40 series on a gen 3 Duratec. I had a dual exahust set up, with the intake silencer removed.

I cant b/c the car is gone. The sound is a low rumble. Sounds a little V8ish. Not to loud at all. It was perfect for me. It didnt draw alot of attention butit still made people wonder what was under the hood.

the best muffler is no muffler at all. At least that's what I run. I still have the resonator in though, so it's not loud at all. But I keep my stereo loud most of the time so I don't notice exhaust rumble from inside the car.
