I think it might be a hood open sensor. How can I make my car believe the hood is closed so that I can do a parasite draw test?

That is one of the crash sensors for the SRS (airbag) system. Hood switch, if your car has one (not all do), is a plunger type switch with a rubber boot on it located on the driver side near the core support.

Good thing I didn't short that plug then I guess. I don't see a plunger or boot looking plug on my car so I probably don't even have it then. Thanks Jeff

This is what mine looks like (hood switch not SRS).
