All mods have been put on hold for now. I'm just maintaining my car until May, when I finish school... but will probably have a little time in between papers and tests to drop in and see what mods folks are up to.

If you've done something to your bull, post it here so we can know what you've been up to.

You can acquire a mirror wiring cover. The Taurus and Sable had one for 02-03, but the Gentex 177 mirror has always had one available. To reset the compass hold down the COMP button for about 10 seconds until it says C and then drive around in circles a few times...it'll calibrate.

Gen 4 rattles, I have those, how have you gotten rid of four of them?

For the blower motor rattle I forced padding under it to stop movement (it used to squeak whenever the transmission shifted). Cotton rags did fine.

For the door panel rattle I padded it with shop rags and duct tape!

For the A-pillar rattle, as stated above.

Thankfully the Gen 4 dash does not rattle anything as bad as my Gen 2.

Let's see.......

In Feb, I installed an aftermarket headunit (JVC), dash kit, and 4 Pioneer 240w speakers

Then, I got my bull an all around, professional tint job (35%in front, 20% rear)

Multiple washes with a few coats of Turtle Wax Ice

Finally, I just now cleaned the entire interior and shampooed the carpets, by myself :D

Oh yea, got her an oil change......full synthetic (Castrol), of course :thumb:

But, there are still things to get done, which include new sway bar links and spark plugs

So yep, I figured since I haven't really been active that I'd list all the things I've done since joining

Went to School, had a great morning learning about Ford engines, went out for lunch and BAM! CEL on.. :(

Was annoyed all afternoon, went back to work, grabbed a scanner and scanned it...

FPR sensor went wacko...

Cleared the light and ordered a new one...

Gotta install it tomorrow...

I just had the following done to my SHO:

1) Installed Magnaflow Y-pipe with new O2 sensors.

2) Installed 96' Big Brake upgrade.

3) Added Front Strut Tower Brace Bar and Rear H-Brace.

4) Replaced MTX fluid with Royal Purple ATF.

5) Replaced Right Rear Tail Lamp Assembly.

It's been a busy week!

So how busy are you in the next few weeks of April...this sounds like a great time/opportunity to consider a Charlotte meet maybe? :D That SHO must ride like its on rails!

About 5k miles ago I replaced the cam synchro with the Dorman, before reading the thread on here about them. The new one hasn't started squeaking, but the cel came on yesterday with a code for the cam sensor. I had saved the original synchro/sensor so today I replaced the sensor with the original and cleared the code. Done plenty of driving today, so far so good!!

I'm going to be out of town the weekend of the 25th, my mom's having her 80th birthday. I'll try to work around any other time.

The SHO is really running sweet. The front strut tower brace and h-brace, combined with the sub-frame connectors already installed, really help tighten things up, almost like the car is smaller than it really is. The 96' Big-Brake upgrade really brings it to stop NOW. Can't wait to show it off.

I went to wash mine and hit the the pass rear wheel well with a spray of water that dislodged the paint and revealed the rust crater I have under there. I'll be getting out the fiberglass, putty, and sandpaper, and ordering some matching paint and clear. Icky. I'm not great at this stuff.

- Final calibration of the cluster pointers after swapping my gauge faces yesterday.

- Added alarm LED to the sunload sensor.

- Re-greased the power antenna drive gear and mast.

- Attempted to add a 'T/C Off' switch, but it was not able to work because of a factory-set override. More details in the Topic Finder thread on adding a T/C Off switch...

Today I got the Yamaha's slave chain tensioners replaced and added 6 new 3.2 purple injectors. Shims are good.
Put the factory '89 coil and throttlebody covers on.
Added a Lincoln turn signal switch and chrome doorlocks to match the shifter.
Built a puddle light in the mirrors.

Just added light cruise and a newer leather wrapped steering wheel:

My car might as well be an 02-03...its becoming to have more features like one

And for those not aware....00-early 02s do not have illuminating cruise control.

Nope, it's an OEM part. I bought it from LKQ; it's out of a junked '07 Taurus SEL- Dark Shadow Gray/Med. Parchment, loaded, with 42k. :( Tragic.
