My grandfather actually got ahold of some MACH speakers from a Taurus in the junkyard. He is going to be giving them to me next time I see him (not sure when yet) He had got them a long time ago but forgot about them until I mentioned to him my installation of the power antenna. So the car he got them from is gone. (I looked
)

Since I have these for free what else would I need for the MACH system? Would I need the MACH amp, is there one? Do I need a different RDU, are they even different? I know I can just hook them up, but there wont be much of an improvment in sound I dont think. Also anyone know how to get to the door speaker and rear deck speaker (tweeter pods are easy since the cover pops off and is right there) Also how about tweeter covers that have MACH on them, anyone know price at a dealer. (Doubt i'd go there but just wondering) Thanks.

If anyone has a part(s) I may need, make an offer, I will be making a post in WTB.

Thanks

To get to the door speakers, the door panels have to come off. There are a few screws and then you just pry it off.

For the rears, you have to remove the seat backs and the side plastic trim pieces. Then the rear deck cover can come off, exposing the speakers.

The Mach speakers will give you a slight sound quality improvement, being 2-way rather than just 1, but they are basically on par with the Lightning Audio speakers you see at Walmart for $20. if they are free though then go for it. The Mach RCU is the difference, it puts out 20 watts per channel instead of like 8, so you'd need the RCU to see the full benefit I believe.
