So opening night i went to see notorious and didnt think to post about it until now.

I LOVED the money because Biggie has really been my favorite rapper for years so that influenced my opinion a bit, some of my friends just said it was ok (they like 2pac)

But something that were strange.

There was literally 2 African Amercian People in the theater, not to be racist but literally 200 eminem look alikes! every kid in the theater had a flat brim hat on!

also, There were 2 POLICE OFFICERS in the theater....??? I thought that was very odd.

Anyways, the movie was really great in my eyes, it was long about 2 1/2 hrs. but followed his entire life, i thought of it as the hip hop version of "Ray" a movie about the life of Ray Charles played by Jamie Foxx which im sure most of you had seen, i definitely recommend the movie if your into hip hop.

I think that producers have run out of ideas for new movies. I don't give a flying monkey about Biggie or TuPac. They were just people of non-importance and new rappers now-days are unoriginal and can't even perform live. It's like getting with a porn star just to find out all the sex scenes were performed by stunt doubles!

Needless to say, I will never see this movie. Tonight, however, we're going to see Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.

Stunt ****!

Anywho...I'm waiting until this comes out on DVD to give it a watch, as I hate dealing with kids in movie theaters. I couldn't stand the 200 people sneaking in with their Henney and cokes, and causing ****.

With that said, I definitely want to see it. I've always liked Biggie, and think he was one of the most talented rappers ever to come up. The ONLY reason Jay-Z is as good as he is now, is because Biggie showed him how.

I watched it last weekend and yeah it was great. im a big rap fan but was never a biggie fan, and hate diddy. but yeah the movie was great and i learned alot about him. thought it was cool that his real son played the part of him as a kid. but yeah id strongly recommend the movie. but yeah only problem was there were mostly only teenagers but wasnt bad since they were all into it nobody was acting stupid or interupting the movie.

I plan on going to see this when I have time, or getting it on DVD. I listen to lots of rap, but by far my favorite is old school rap. NWA, Eazy, Pac, Biggie, all them.

hopefully its good.

I agree with you about Puff Daddy, but Biggie a mediocre rapper? Compared to who? Dre? Snoop? Cube? Run? Beasties?

Please don't tell me you think TI or Lil' (insert name here) are great rappers.

Funny how the theater is filled with teenagers when Biggie was before any of today's teenagers time. I am not a rap fan, but I do like real Hip Hop (the roots and such). Was a TuPac fan more than a biggie fan in my day. Both were great, I just preferred Pac.

Here's a funny one. At a Halloween party a few years ago, I got into an argument about who was the best hip hop/rapper of all time. Me, the white guy who listens to mainly country arguing for TuPac, her, the ghetto black chick arguing for Eminem.

No word of a lie. Told me TuPac AND Biggie were garbage and it wasn't until Eminem that hip hop and rap became big. I proceeded to laugh and walk away saying "Hi, my name is"

officers are at all theaters for this movie because there have been a couple cases of shootings and stabbings. crazy people get waaaay to far into the tupac biggie thing when they have nothing to do with it!

Not wasting my money on it. I hate all newer rappers. And I sure as hell don't want to go see a movie about some wanna be "gangsta" with a month long career. I despise this "gangsta" garbage. Let's see these wanna be's face off against some real gangSTERS, such as the Italian mafia. And lets be honest, before BIG and Tupac got shot(convenient way for a "gangsta" to die huh), how many people really gave a damn about them?

CAN SOMEBODY MAKE AN ORIGINAL MOVIE THAT IS WORTH A CRAP NOWADAYS? :dunno: And by original, I MEAN AN ORIGINAL IDEA.

I'm reading this book "Black Mass" about the relationship of Whitey Bulger and the FBI in Boston from back in the 70's...would be SUCH a good movie.

ha, did a little research...

In January of 2009, it was announced that Director Jim Sheridan would direct a film based on the novel Black Mass which tells the entire story of Whitey Bulger and John Connelly[/b]

Biggie > Pac.

Just personal preference. No, I don't believe I'll be seeing the movie.
