headlight covers are going to be harder to find for a sable than for a taurus. Jegs.com has some pretty cool stuff that will black out any kind of light. It's called night shade. I think it's like 12 bucks a can or something, but it's probably your only option. Eventually I'm going to use it and black out all the lights on my car. Side markers, turn signals, headlights, and taillights
Is this possible on a gen 3 Taurus taillight? Aren't they colored by some plastic covering you can peel off (which is really "K-Mart" if you ask me). In any event, that would look really cool on all Taurii.

you can't use niteshades on headlights though, you have to use covers that are removable, niteshades will reduce the light output of your headlights too much. I'm not sure if they make covers for a sable. try jegs, or summit, or do a general search. if nothing comes up, you may have to make something yourself

Yes, you can use nightshades on any type of taillight. And No, the G3 taillight is red plastic. No peeling at all. It's solid red plastic (which is really proving to be a pain in my a** to create clears of.)

If you want to see an example, please check out DetroitRaver's Bull - "Black-out"

You know what's funny? I was looking at an G1 Sable in the junkyard and the taillight was slightly smashed. Behind the red plastic was a clear white lense! Maybe this is true for the later models?

No. It's not.
