Hi all, have a 1990 Ford Taurus Wagon with the bigger of the 2 v6's. and a automaic transmission.

Car has a vibration that sort of sounded like a miss at idle. When you rev it up you can really feel the vibration. We determined its not a miss and thought it may be a motor mount but those look ok to. Now we are thinking its the Harmonic Balancer.

Has anyone replaced the harmonic balance before? If so how hard is it.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hmm nobody ever replaced a harmonic balancer?

Hmm. You might want to start with the flux capacator. Its located behind the firewall, and keeps the car in check. :/ J/K
