I went to the show-n-shine today and had a great time. I was glad to represent the club and the Taurus at this event. I knew a few guys from my Probe days so it was cool to check up on everyone's projects. There was a wide variety of cars there, which is cool. The Livernois speed shop was awsome!

My car looking shabby compaired to some people's cars. I decided to go at the last minute so I didn't prepair my car at all.

Lots of Essex 3.8L Mustangs there.

SK,

The Lightning has a V6, I didn't know that either until the guy told me. Its Super charged. I had a pic of the engine but deleted it by accident. He had it so clean that you could eat off of it.

The Ranger has a 4.0L V6 and looked pretty much stock. The cool thing was that every non-necessary system was stripped out (the A/C, power steering, ect). You can look down at the engine and see pavement under it. There were a couple Rangers like that. The other was being Dynoed so I didn't get a good look.

There were 3.8L Essex engines everywhere you looked. Some were Super Charged and really looked like they could do very well at the track. The Probe that is shown had a Japan Spec 2.5L.

It was a cool to be a part of the show.

Jason -- These guys were all really cool. Hopefully they pick another weekend, not on the ROTB dates.
