We hace a 99 Taurus SE, and I really don't like the wheels that are on it. I found some wheels on an 03 that are same the as the one's on our 04. Will the 03 rims work on a 99? I didn't know if they changed the back spacing, or even the bolt pattern from one year to the next. Also, what year rims will fit a 99? Thanks.

All gen 4 rims (00-07) will fit on your car including any SHO rims from previous years. :)

That'd be a good upgrade. Once you have bigger rims, you could upgrade front brake rotors to 2001 and later size. Just need the bigger rotor, pads, and mounting bracket from 2001-up models.

The brake mod sounds good. I would wait for the current brakes to wear out. I just did the front brakes on that car not too lond ago. I would think bigger brake pads would mean bigger caliper. Thanks for the info.

All that changes is the caliper bracket (it will say FN74). The caliper does not change.
