I replaced the Multi-Function Switch/stalk, the fuses and the relay. Bulbs are all good- right size and voltage.
I don't understand why the hazards still work but the turn signals do not.
I keep thinking it must be the MFS but I replaced it twice already. Currently it has a Motorcraft MFS.

Any thoughts?

By relay are you talking about the blinker relay? Maybe the hazard blinking relay is different than the turn signal blinker relay.

Excellent!
And if you are ever faced with a points-ignition engine that's been sitting for a while and won't make a spark at the spark plug, cleaning the ignition points in this manner will often do the trick.

My son and I have been locating and cleaning all of the electrical grounds we can find. If it is the Multi-function switch, what is causing them to fail so quickly?

SOLVED:
1) Replaced the battery terminal red and black copper wires.
2) Scrubbed all the grounds down to the metal and put dielectric jelly over them. There are at least three under the hood on the inside fenders. Easy to get to.

BTW-This is the best, easiest diagnostic routine I've seen for problems like this
It applies to most all brands/models of cars.(<edit)
