I'm having a little trouble replacing the driver's side turn signal bulb in my 98 Taurus. I assumed the harness would unclip, unplug the bulb, plug the new one in, reclip, and it's done (like all the others do.) But the harness is obscured by wires from my fuse box and the front end sheetmetal. I tried using pliers, but it ended up breaking the rear of the bulb off, and the rest of it is now rolling around in the casing. Is changing the turn signals supposed to be this hard?

Any help in the fixing of this would be appreciated.

It can be a pain in the a** fer sure.

I think the HAYNES manual has something on it, but yeah, it is not real fun.

I'm somewhat surprised to see that this topic didn't generate the typical friendly, "here's what you need" advice most topics do. Guess I'll be buying a Chilton's manual or something. Damn Taurus, which I love so dearly...
