There have to date, been no turbocharged TAURUSES, that were not SHO models. There have been a couple of turboed Probes, as well as a few turboed Rangers that have had the vulcan engine.

You might want to figure out what motor you have first since you don't have the Duratec.

The basics:
larger injectors
larger MAF
Chip/Tuning
Turbo
Piping
Intercooler is nice

Stick to around 6-8lbs to start

you can probably get away with out a tune at 6lbs
but you CANNOT get anywhere without a tranny build.

A lot of fab needed, but interestingly enough, there's a turbo kit claiming to be for a Vulcan, Duratec or SHO V6 engine, but if you read all the info, it states there is custom work required.

Its a start but its also a super generic kit. A lot of fab will be needed.

Very true, not to mention the inferior quality of the kit. Only thing I might use out of that kit is the intercooler and piping.

There are a few hundred turbocharged 2Gen PGTs nowadays.
In the past few years a cheap set of turbo hotpipes hit the market for $300, that's really helped.
RyanPzz is also a PGT owner, having one of the big names in MegaSquirt really helped us get out of the dark ages of FMUs and needing a built motor even for 6-8#

I'm on my fourth.
I've assembled/built/modified/fixed a few dozen others.

10 pounds is not low boost for a former Naturally aspirated engine.
