Are the g3's supposed to have trunk lights? Ever since we've had my car, I haven't seen a trunk light. At all! Not even a place where the bulb is supposed to go... Was this a delete on the 97's or what?

I just went out and checked my SHO. I don't know if the trunk light is standard on all models or not. But if you have one it is directly underneath the third brake light, offset to the left a little when standing behind the bull. And the bulb holder is a white plastic.

i have a 97 LX and I've never saw a trunk light on mine, either. if you're crafty enough, you could install one. shouldn't be that hard.

Have a 97 Sable GS here, and the light is right where Willie said up above.

the thing some model have and some dont why ? i dont remember but all the wiring is there

you go to the scrap and get yourself the harnest that you open up the trunk it kind of a level and the plug is there right in the left corner near the trunk lid

me a got 3 light one in the middle and one in each corner lolllllll if beautifull ill get a picture for you guy of the setup and where are the plug and what they look like

it kind of a round cylinder with plug lollllllll you go to the scrap and just rip one off and put in your pocket lollllll

Well, I thought it was odd that I didn't have one. Even the g2 we had prior to LRB had a trunk light. I looked today.. and come to find out - there was no bulb in it! I wondered why I could never figure out what the hell that white long thing was. Thanks guys!
