Hey guys, I'm going on a road trip to Memphis for a wedding with 4 other people, and I came to remember one thing I hate about the Taurus...the stupid hinges in the trunk. My aunt's Concorde has gas struts to hold up the trunk, which is great because those large metal strut bars don't close and crush the luggage (Or in this case, the tuxedos). Is there any way to convert the trunk to gas struts? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard. After all, the G4 trunk seems pretty light.
