I just had a bad expierience with my transmission. When I stop sometimes, and begin to accelerate the RPMS go up and the car doesnt move. Then it just seems to kick and its off to the races. Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you checked your transmission fluid level? Also, when was the last time you have had your transmission fluid changed and the filter cleaned/replaced?

:withstupid: sounds like its slipping. low/bad fluid and/or a dirty filter can cause this.

if you change the fluid/filter yourself, don't forget to clean off the magnet in the bottom of the pan. get all those little metal shavings out. the best bet is to have the tranny professionally flushed and install a tranny cooler.

i had the same problem in my 93, i had the tranny fluid and filter changed and its been fine since
