My car just turned to 85K when I noticed red fluid (tranny) leaking from the upper Oil tube

assembly.I bought the part F7DZ-7D273-AA Connector and a clip (just in case it breaks). What I

wonder is besides using a box wrench to remove old one, should I add a sealer to threaded end?

Is there something I need to do before attempting this repair? I am very good at most repairs, just

being cautious, since it is the tranny. Oh, I am working on a Vulcan 1998. Any help or suggestions

are appreciated.
