NOTICE AND INTERMITTENT TRANS LEAK...NOTICED ONLY AFTER CAR WAS PARKED ON INCLINE..MOVED INTO THE GARAGE AND NOTICE THE NEXT DAY WHEN I PULLED IT OUT.. I THINK IT MIGHT BE A BAD O-RING SEAL EITHER IN THE DIPSTICK OR THE FILL TUBE LEADING INTO THE TRANSMISSION..WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OR MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM.. AX4N TRANNY.2000 DOHC SES

Welcome to the club! :)

A seal sounds like a reasonable thing to check since you only have the problem on an incline... nothing else I can think of at the moment.

Ditto.

I've got two '91's that leak. I thought poor trans pans gaskets was Fords way of making sure we changed the trans fluid often.

They leak power steering fluid too.

like jason said,

the seal could be the problem

also if you use the wrong fluid that could also cause this.
