Torque Straps

I know erryone asks about dsi stuff but i was wonderin if those torque straps will hurt my car at all. I can't see how it would but i was wondering what problems people have encountered wif em. Also for those people who want cold air intakes just measure out your angles and figure out your bends and a muffler store will bend you tubing.

I've only heard of one guy that had problems with his torque strap, but that was because he installed it wrong. IIRC, he didn't follow the suggested mounting points and ended up breaking his subframe bushings.

I couldn't find that thread, where did he attach it and what did he do wrong? I want to do this at some point, rather not make that mistake myself
