i was just wondering what most peoples tire rotation schedule is like. im wondering how often i need to rotate mine, and what the best patters are (front to rear, clockwise, counter-clockwise, criss-cross...)

thanks for any input

I get mine rotated every 5k miles and it's free at the firestone I bought them at.

You should check the tires if you're going to rotate them yourself, you might have a directional tread, and if that's the case, I think you can only do front to back.

Otherwise, put the LF on the RR and the RF on the LR (criss cross and bring back). Then put the LR on the LF and the RR on the RF (back straight to the front).

My tires got those "funny tread pattern check bar thingy's"... heh I couldn't remember what those things are called. It's the small bar of rubber about halfway down in your tread and as the tread wears down it becomes more noticeable till the tread meets up with it.

I have free rotate and balance on my tires and I get it done every 6-10k. I have directional tires.
