Hi, I was just wondering if there is a maintenance schedule for replacing timing belts/chains or just wait until they fail? The vehicles in question are 92 Sable, 95 Windstar both with the 3.8L and a 2001 F150 Super Crew with a 5.4L

The 3.8L uses a timing chain. The chain will always outlast the engine, so don't worry about it.

No idea on the 5.4L though. Sorry.
