Two years ago, both of the front outside tie rods were replaced. This month the same mechanic told me the passenger-side front tie rod needs to be replaced again. I paid him to get it replaced anyway. My question is: Doesn't tie rod last two years?
Most aftermarket tie rod ends come with grease fittings, and are not greased at all from the factory. I am wondering if the mechanic forgot to grease it after the install No grease = real short life.
