Did the 2.3 turbo ever come in a front wheel drive? I know tempos and other rigs had a different 2.3, but I wondered if the 2.3 turbo lima engine that came in the tbirds (and other stuff) had a bolt pattern that matched any front wheel drive tranny...

I've seen the 4.6 stuffed into a 4th gen, but I wonder how much the 2.3 has been explored...

The 2.3T Lima was never used in a FWD application. The 2.3T was bolted to either a Borg Warner T5, a C3, or a A4LD in its RWD applications. I know a lot about the 2.3T....... I have owned one for the last 18 years.
