Ok, i am not sure why bad luck always seems to follow me, but I did something REAL stupid.

As i am cleaning the throttle body the little red plastic piece that is shooting out the solution shoots out and ends up in the UIM.

Is there a chance that this plastic will just burn up and there wont be a problem, or am i screwed? As it is 8:50PM and dark out side, there is no chance i can get to it tomorrow. Plus i need to get to work.

Will this plastic piece just burn up? I started the engine and it seems to be running better than before i cleaned the throttle body.

That could be a big problem if it gets sucked into the cylinder. Maybe you can get lucky and suck it out witha vacuum.

Gamble

Well i took the gamble this morning and i drove to work. The car ran well. Hopefully it just burned up with the heat, melted, and was blown out through the exhaust.

Fingers are still crossed.

Bad Luck

I should of said phlenum and not the UIM. If it is still in there, maybe i will hook up the wet/dry vac and try to suck it out when i get home.

Still keeping my fingers crossed...
