One of my family's cars was a '62 Mercury Comet, complete with 200 straight six, and four on the floor.

It had some sort of issue where when you drove it, after you parked it would barf coolant out of the overflow hose......no tank on those.

Like most cars, I nicknamed it. It got called the Cavomit.

wow, that woman knows her car. She seems really smart...buying all parts that have lifetime warrantys...I bet they didn't expect her to have the car that long!!! 540,000 miles....some people throw their cars away at 100....or whenever the warranty runs out..

THAT'S COOL..what a nice lady...I bet A/C and power steering were quite the luxury, and quite pricey in 1962!!!
That's a solid built car..none of the plastic like they have now and CHROME BUMPERS!!!!!
and when she opened the hood....JUST ENGINE!!! those were the days!!!

saw this a few weeks ago on CEG my uncle has a 64 caliente convertible that hes been restoring he had a car just like hers as a parts car only blue pretty nice cars
