Having an interesting issue.. When I bought the car, most of the doors did not want to open/close, including the trunk. After MUCH spraying with WD-40 Specialist Rust Release, the doors all open, and the trunk does too.

And the back doors lock, but the front ones will not. They close just fine.

What is needed to get them to lock? Thanks!

Does the door lock cylinder allow the key to move clockwise and counterclockwise?

Put some graphite lube into the lock cylinders and work them with the key - see if they loosen up.

No dice? Get some white lithium grease, remove the door panels, pull weathershield back, and plastic the mechanism down with it.

Sounds more like burned-out power lock motors to me. Pull the panel, twist the motor loose from their mounting brackets on the lower rear edge of the door skin (let it hang for a minute) then try locking the door with the button or the key.
