Not sure which forum this belongs in, but I only posted in this one so I'll put it here.

Just wanted to say thank-you for the help and suggestions over the past year or so. I mostly lurked, but posted sometimes.

Anyways, the Sable is no longer mine. We had another baby in January and have graduated to a minivan. I'll miss the vehicle, but no sense in keeping too many cars around.

Take care ya'all:~))

PS - if anyone needs a set of new Motorcraft wires, cap and rotor, I have a complete set that the new owner didn't even want. There are some new Bosch plugs too FWIW. Make me an offer. I'll check back for a little bit longer.

I understand that one. When we had our first kid my wifes 1996 Mustang had to go in place of a minivan. What model will all that stuff fit? I just got my 99 Taurus a few weeks ago and its still running the original cap, wires, rotor, plugs, etc and I'm at almost 70k miles now.

I'm in the Dallas area if that helps for possible shipping costs.

I should have a few bucks from the next paycheck to do more maintennace type stuff on getting my Bull where I think it should be.

Thanks and sorry to meet ya on these terms.

This has definitely been a helpful site and I appreciate that. IMO, the Sable worked just great with two kids, but the third pushed the back seat line-up too far. It coulda been done, but I guess it was time to move on....

As for the parts, I'm not sure - my Sable was a '94 3.0L

Well, just so ya know, there are lots of members and "lurkers" here that no longer own a Taurus/Sable. You can still "lurk" and post as you please, the TCCA is a family and we welcome all. But if you must go, then go with our blessings and good wishes for you and your increasing family. Thank you for your partcipation in TCCA. :thanks:

a 99 doesn't have a rotor, it's a DIS.

I must agree with troper, don't think that just because you don't have a taurus anymore that you aren't welcome here. I enjoy talking to these people just as much as I like fixing up my car ( and I happen to like that a LOT). Congrats on the third kid (my first one is due Aug. 2nd), and good luck with the minivan.

I'll most likely lurk occassionally - still know friends and relatives with these cars.

As great of service that I had from my Ford product, I jumped ship and bought a Town&Country. Seems to be a nice ride so far.
