Interesting question here,

2001 Ford Taurus 3.0 Vin U with the AX4S transmission with 136,000 miles. While at cruising speed on the highway, 55 and above I notice the transmission seems like its constantly coming out of gear and going back in, like the Torque Converter does not want to lock in. Also, when driving at low speeds 30 and below, I notice the transmission shift hard and fast, and even stepping on the gas slightly makes the car jerk forward, which makes me think the Torque Converter is locking up to to quick. Could this be the TCC Solenoid? I have done some research and that's what it is pointing to right now. Any ideas and help would be appreciated, and especially past experience with this kind of problem. Thanks! And also, does anyone know where the TCC Solenoid is located on the transmission. I believe the actual assembly is inside the transmission but there is a harness plugging into the transmission where the TCC solenoid is
