I just ordered a set of OEM 18" wheels to mount summer tires on for my 2008. I am looking at using 235/50/ZR18 101Y Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on them to use for Open Road Racing. I bought one of the Motorcraft TPMS 19 transmitters so that I can reset the TPMSs when I change wheels. These tires are the same diameter as the Goodyear Assurance Weatherready 215/60/17 96H tires I have on the original wheels. Since the 225/55/18 tires were an optional size I don't expect that the extra 10mm will amount to much with respect fitment. While I love the Weatherreadys, want to make sure that there is extra grip should we make a mistake on a line trying to maintain speed.
Has anyone else tried the Pilot Sport 4Ss?

Just got the Michelin tires put onto the 18" stock wheels. They feel great so far. Look a little better as well.
