im going to install 2 12" subs with a rockford amp and im wondering if this is possible with a mach audio system in a 2003 SES taurus

Yes, you need to buy another amp for the subs.

Look around the site as well, there are many threads on how to set this up. If I remember correctly you will need an in line converter to the mach so the new amp can get a signal to send to the subs. good luck!

If you want to use the Mach RCU for the doors, decklid, and tweeters if you have them, you should just be able to tap into the two back speaker wires, get a LOC (line out converter) run the tapped wires from the back speakers into it, and tada, you have RCA outs for your rockford amp. Make sure the LOC has adjustable gain (they may all have it), you will need to dial this in after setup of the whole system to make sure it sounds good.

Yes, u will need something called a Line Out converter or LOC(pronounced Lock)... go onto Metra's website and enter ur vehicle and.itll show everything that they have for your car then look for an LOC.
