I took the grey cloth thing off from under the rear deck in the trunk and to my surprise I found a spot for a sub. It's directly in the middle. My question is, I'm planning on getting new speakers anyway, I can't upgrade to an aftermarket head unit because I have electronic controls, and I don't want to mess with that. So where can I get the sub that fits in the factory hole and would I have to get an amp?

It doesn't fit directly but , I had a 10" Clarion marine sub(doesn't need an enclosure) mounted in mine. It is only a 300 Watt but I think it sounds pretty good.

I would strongly advise against this stereo mod. If you're looking for a little bass, this will be alright, but if you're looking for thump, you'll be severely disappointed. If I were you, I would invest in a decent amp, sub, and sub enclosure. Free air subs don't sound all that good, in my opinion.
