What could this be? After awhile of driving with the windows up and A/C on I noticed a strong gas smell in the cabin. Also noticed it towards the rear of the car.

there are no leaks detected anywhere in engine bay or near gas tank.

- possible fuel filter? I know it is probably pretty old.

- gas cap is holding pressure in like it should

- any ideas ? thanks

no LOL my car is lucky to ever see a full tank with these gas prices

I was wondering where the charcoal canister was located..I am sure it is the original 16 yr old one so it wouldn't hurt to check it
