I've had my 97 for about a month now, and have a few eletrical gremlins.

The car sat in a driveway for about 2 years. It was occasionally driven around the block during that time, but that was it.

When I got the car the blinkers did not work, but eventually they started working. Occasionally they stop working, but will phase back in within about 15 seconds. The flashers have not worked yet.

The driver's auto window down feature was not working orginally, but then after a little switch abuse, it worked a few times, but not recently.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I do suspect that some sort of film built up during the HOT summers and is "gumming up" some relays. The wiondows all had a thick coating of scum when I got the car.

The rest of the car has been great. Just need to get these demons out of this nice little low mile cream puff.

Thanks,

-Wayne

The little solenoid relay thingy that controls the flashers probabyl needs replacing. This is cheap and realtively easy to fix. Perhaps the reason the windows don't work is the ground for the switch has corroded. just a thought.
